This will be a great experience for scouts of all skill levels! Scouts will backpack in equipment, food and supplies to enjoy a great time in the wilderness. Fishing may be available along the way with the proper licenses.
1st year Scouts – Will pack their gear in approximately 1-3 miles; part on Friday. On Saturday, the scouts will take a day hike to one of the many mountain lakes. Scouts will be able to enjoy the scenery and other activities. Scouts may fish if they have a valid Colorado permit.
Older Scouts – Will pack their gear in approximately 5 – 10 miles. Scouts may fish if they have a valid Colorado permit. Scouts will stay on the boundary of the Indian Peaks Wilderness on Friday and Saturday.
